Sh2-101 Tulip Nebula

Tulip Nebula (Sh2‑101) is a bright hydrogen emission region in the constellation Cygnus, illuminated by hot O‑type stars. At the top of the frame you can clearly see the distinctive shock bow of Cygnus X‑1, created where the black hole’s jet interacts with surrounding interstellar gas.
