Chris Bowden gave a fascinating talk about his and Wendy's recent expedition to Peru and the Pacific visiting Easter Island, Pitcairn Island and other places. Chris showed us aspects of Inca archaeoastronomy that they were able to visit as well as the stargazing experiences that can be had on Easter Island and the Pitcairn dark skies. The audience was able to enjoy their travels vicariously and assimilate some of the details of Inca cosmology, astronomy and constellations. The talk was very well received and stimulated discussion at the end.
