An Altair 60EDF Doublet refractor was fitted with a Baader OD5 filter over the objective lens and an ASI 533MM Pro camera, EFW and 0.8 x Focal reducer were attached in order to take a one minute exposure of the sun using Astro DMx Capture with the a Meade lunar filter selected in the filter wheel. Some 20% of a 5,025 frame SER were stacked in Autostackert!4 using 1.5 x drizzle, with wavelet sharpening done in Registax. Further processing and false colourisation were applied in Pixinsight's Solar Toolbox with final adjustments done in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop 2025.
