AstroEdit in IOS

I have been experimenting with AstrEdit in iOS to edit Seestar S30 images that were downloaded to the Seestar-controlling iPad on termination of live-stacking. Unfortunately this application is not available for Android. It is low cost from the App Store at £2.99.

I have discussed the processing of images at this bit depth in the first of two blog articles that I have written. However, suffice it to say that this gives Seestar owners another option for processing their data. The most significant feature is that the software allows the stars to be separated from the rest of the image, so that the background nebulosity or galaxy can be processed separately from the stars.
