M95/M96/M105 with NGC3384 and NGC3389:

M95/M96/M105 with NGC3384 and NGC3389:  Just one hour of LRGB/Ha data on these two groups of galaxies in a 1 deg2 part of Leo taken with a Sky-Watcher 80 Esprit with field flattener using an ASI 533MM Pro camera. I was pleased with how M95’s distinctive barred spiral shape turned out for such a short integration of this galaxy which is some 33 million light years away, whilst its companion M96 (a double barred spiral galaxy) lies 31 million light years away. M105 is an elliptical galaxy some 37 million light years away and the two NGC galaxies NGC3384 and NGC3389 are of similar distances and are lenticular and spiral in shape respectively.
