M13, M81 and M82 with a Seestar S50

M13, first light for both my new SeeStar S50 and for me as an astrophotographer. 12x10s exposures integrated by the SeeStar software with no post-processing. I’ve never been good at focusing so a fully automatic system like this is a real game-changer for me. Taken from just outside Carnforth in N.Lancashire (Bortle 4).

M13

M81/M82. My second object. After the first 10s exposure appeared I realised that I could get both galaxies in the same shot, so I re-centred the target and set it running. It was fascinating watching the structure appear as I sat on the sofa in the warm. 372 x 10s exposures integrated by the SeeStar software with no post-processing. Taken from just outside Carnforth in N.Lancashire (Bortle 4).
