The Sun and the Moon on June 17

A Panasonic Lumix DMCFZ72, 60x optical zoom bridge camera fitted with an ICE ND100000 solar filter and mounted on a static tripod was used to capture 155 images of the Sun at ISO 100 and 1/1000s. The images were precisely cropped/registered in Nicola Mackin's AstroCrop before being stacked in Autostakkert!, wavelet processed in waveSharp and post processed in the Gimp.

An SV605CC camera was placed at the focus of a Stella Mira 66mm ED refractor. A 1500 frame SER file was captured by AstroDMx Capture and the best 85% of the frames were stacked in Autostakkert!4, wavelet processed in waveSharp and post processed in GIMP 2.10.
