Eastern Veil nebula: Just 10 minutes of 1 min RGB subs show just how bright this target is. Data acquired with NINA using an Altair 60 EDF with 0.8 x FR using an ASI 533MM Pro camera - integrated and processed in Pixinsight/Adobe Photoshop 2024

The Eastern Veil nebula
Eagle nebula (M16): I took 70 minutes of Ha and OIII data in total using an ASI 533MM Pro camera, fitted to an Altair 60 EDF with a 0.8 x FR. The data were processed in three different ways in Pixinsight using the three different narrowband normalisation blend modes. A tight crop of one image shows the detail that was able to be coaxed out of the central region using this tool. The stars were removed using "StarXterminator" and processed using the "RGB stars from NB script" before recombining them back in with the three different palettes used to process the nebula.
