The Eagle nebula in the Hubble Palette

A dovetail modified Stella Mira ED APO f/6 refractor with a field flattener and Altair magnetic filter holder was mounted on an AVX mount. An Altair Hypercam 553C OSC CMOS camera was placed at the focus. AstroDMx Capture was used to capture 60 minutes worth of 5 minute RAW exposures through an HaOIII Altair dualband filter and 45 minutes worth of 5 minute exposures through a SIIOIII Altair dualband filter. Calibration frames were also captured.

The data were debayered and stacked in PixInsight and partly processed. The data were further processed in GIMP 2.10, GraXpert, Photoshop CS2 and ACDSee.
