On Saturday 1st June members enjoyed some late observing and imaging at the Brian Stokes Cygnus Observatory with some great views of galaxies and nebulae through a range of telescopes.

Great Globular Cluster in Hercules (M13): Some 2 hours of LRGB data was captured using a ASI 533MM Pro camera attached to an Altair 60 EDF doublet refractor fitted with a 0.8 x FR. The image was spectrophotometrically colour corrected to get the star colours correct.
Tulip nebula (SH2-101): Some 75 minutes of SHO data was taken with an ASI 533MM Pro camera attached to an Altair 60 EDF doublet refractor fitted with a 0.8 x FR.
Ring Nebula (M57): Using the Society's 115mm triplet refractor an hour of OSC data was taken with an Atik 320e camera
All data were captured in NINA and integrated in Pixinsight and finished off in Adobe Photoshop 2024
