The Sun with a G-band filter

I imaged the Sun this morning using an Altairastro Hypercam 178 and Baader Herschel Wedge with an Altairastro 80mm Ascent.refractor using Sharpcap Pro. I also used an Altairastro G-band filter attached to the nosepiece of the camera. The best 25% of 1000 frames were stacked using Autostakkert! and sharpened in IMPPG.My 178 doesn't manage the full solar disk so I used Affinity Photo to create a 2 pane mosaic.

The rest of the processing was done with Photoshop I coloured the sun to represent the colour seen when using a G-band filter.

Conditions weren't particularly good as it was rather windy and rather cloudy.
