The Moon and the Pacman nebula with a Seestar S50

Making sure that a Seestar S50 is level can be challenging if the scope is in an awkward place. This is the case with our cope if we are imaging from the flat roof at the rear of the house with a northerly aspect. A simple levelling device between the Seestar and the tripod makes levelling a simple matter.

The Seestar S50 fitted with the levelling device imaging from the easily accessible flat roof.

Also visible is the Ethernet over mains range extension equipment as well as the dewshield.

The 84% waxing Moon was imaged by capturing a RAW AVI.

The best 95% of frames were stacked in Autostakkert!, wavelet processed in waveSharp and post processed in the Gimp.

The Pacman nebula was imaged and the data combined with some from a previous evening giving 56 minutes worth of 10s exposures. The images were stacked in ZWO ASIDeepStack and processed in PixInsight, Siril and the Gimp.
