Reprocessing IC417

It was raining today so I amused myself reprocessing IC417 which was one of the images captured in Portugal last November.

This time I used several new Pixinsight processes, in particular the Narrowband Neutralisation script which balances the different narrowband channels to match the strongest channel, usually the Ha one. I've used the Hubble palette. I've also extracted the RGB stars and used them on the processed narrowband image.

I'm posting the result along with the original version which had the green levels reduced to give the traditional blue/gold effect.

I think there's more detail in some areas of the reprocessed image.
