Solar image in white light

Solar image taken at noon today with a QHY5P camera attached to my Herschel Wedge fitted to a Celstron C70 travel scope mounted on an AstroTrac running in solar tracking mode. During the imaging run I was able to successfully tests a solar finder fellow SAS member John Beer kindly 3D printed for me (he also made one for Fairwood too). Am pleased to say that it works a treat and allows safe alignment of the scope on the sun prior to removing the lens cap and letting in the sun's rays to the scope and the Herschel Wedge solar filter system. Our nearest star is looking very active still. - inset mage was a stack of 550 frames captured in AstroDMx Capture, stacked in Autostakkert! wavelet processed in Registax and finished off in Adobe CS2.
