I've been imaging the Pacman nebula over the last 2 nights. Both of the attached images used my Atik 320e colour ccd camera with my Altair 60EDF telescope on the Ioptron CEM60ec mount.
Image one was taken using a UV/IR cut filter. 10 x 600s subs which were Imaged using SGPro. All processing used Pixinsight.
Image two used an Optolong L Enhance duoband filter in place of the UV/IR filter which lets through H-alpha in the red channel and OIII and H-beta in the green/blue channel. This makes use of the bayer matrix in front of the ccd chip. The red pixels collect Ha and the blue and green varying amounts of OIII with any H-beta that is strong enough to be collected. I'm using a filter slide system to make changing filters easier. 12 x 600s subs were stacked in Maxim dl and processed in Pixinsight.
