I've been imaging the centre of the Heart nebula the last couple of nights, the area in the centre where the cluster named IC1805 actually is. I've offset it to the right so I can also include the heart-shaped section at the top of the nebula.
20x900s exposures using my Atik 320e and the duoband filter on the AltairAstro 60edf refractor mounted on the Ioptron CEM60ec. I'm still using normal PHD2 guiding as my mount uses 5 sec exposures for guiding, because of the encoder on RA, which will cancel out some of the atmostpheric disturbance.
Image calibrated stacked and debayered and processed in Pixinsight. This one was rather tricky, possibly due to the bright moon leading to gradients in the background. I'm also still learning how best to process the images with the duoband filter. Ha is in the red channel but O3 was strongest in the green channel with some still showing in the blue.
