The Sun with a Bridge camera

A Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ72 Bridge camera was fitted with a Baader solar filter and mounted on a static tripod. The Sun was imaged at full, 60x optical zoom in burst mode at 3 images per burst.

Nicola's AstroCrop was used to precisely crop the images of the Sun.

101 images were stacked and wavelet processed in Registax 5.1 and post processed in the Gimp 2.10.

Active region AR2804 can be seen clearly whilst AR2805 has now diminished to a tiny spot.
