M42/43 with AstroDMx Capture for Windows

An f/5/5, 80mm, ED refractor was mounted on a Celestron AVX EQ, GOTO mount. An SVBONY SV305 camera was placed at the focus of the scope.

AstroDMx Capture for Windows was used to capture 60 x 30s 16-bit exposures of the Orion nebula which were saved as 16-bit Fits files along with matching dark-frames.

The Fits files were dark-frame corrected and stacked in Deep Sky Stacker

The final image was post-processed in the Gimp, Affinity Photo, FastStone, Fitswork and Neat Image.
