I had another go at solar imaging using the Lunt50 with Altair Hypercam 178m on my Cem60ec.
Surface and prominences were captured in one go. Best 20% of 1000 frames stacked in Autostakkert3!, sharpened in IMPPG and finished in Photoshop CS3.
I've also produced separate images from the complete disc to show the two sunspot areas on the disc. The new spot had some prominences nearby so I copied the original and compressed it so there were only black and white areas. I then copied and pasted the surface from the original on top. The older sunspot didn't really have any noticeable proms so I just sharpened the spot area.
