M13 with AstroDMx Capture and Solus

A Skymax 127 Maksutov was mounted on a Celestron AVX GOTO mount. A ZWO178MC 14-bit colour camera, fitted with a 0.5x focal reducer was placed at the Cassegrain focus.

A Lenovo Thinkpad X230 laptop running Solus was used to capture images of M13 using AstroDMx Capture for Linux.

The equipment

30 x 30s exposures with matching dark frames were captured and stacked in Deep Sky  Stacker.
The resulting image was processed in the Gimp 2.10.
