8 and 16 bit SER files were captured of Venus using AstroDMx Capture for Linux. A ZWO ASI178MC camera fited with a UV/IR cut filter and a 2.5x Barlow was placed at the Cassegrain focus of a Skymax 127 Maksutov. A 10,000 frame 8-bit SER file was captured using ROI and a 5,000 frame 16-bit SER file was captured.
The best 50% of the 16-bit frames and the best 20% of the 8-bit frames were stacked in Autostakkert!, wavelet processed in Registax 6, post processed and combined in the Gimp 2.10.
