A monochrome, 0.5" chip Mintron camera fitted with a 100mm zoom TV lens was was attached to an undriven tripod and set to F=30mm.
Steve Massey's GStar4 video capture software was used to capture 50 frame AVIs, with each frame being a 5.12 s integration.

The AVIs were processed on the comet. In this image, Comet Panstarrs can be seen below the Andromeda Galaxy:
The lens was then zoomed to 100mm and the comet was imaged:
